It happened with me with Burger King but they didn’t tell me I was hired. They just told me I had an interview at a location at a certain day and time and I showed up and nobody knew that I was getting an interview and I wasn’t able to get the interview that day because there was no manager above the position that I was applying for that could interview me. I drove 45 minutes to go to that location. Just to sit there for about 10 minutes to get told that I wasn’t able to get an interview today because both of the managers that could come in were too lazy and tired to come in. 😅
