I really need this to be labeled on food. Having a mammal allergy is frustrating.

even if you are not allergic to the point of anaphylaxis, doesn't the fact that you are producing antibodies show that your body is constantly being taxed whenever you eat meat products? so while no anaphylaxis, maybe you present with other symptoms of this perpetual chronic reaction like chronic fatigue or eczema

I need this question answered, does exposure to tick bites increase your chances of alpha gal syndrome?

I’ve been dealing with allergy symptoms and an unknown cause for about 3 months. My pcp is stumped and I finally have an allergist appt at the end of the month but checked out your book with my local library to hopefully help me and learn as much as possible before the appointment. 🤞🏻🤞🏻Thank you for writing this book!

It’s kind of like celiac testing- I have positive blood tests, but I do not have celiac, I have NCGI. Some people can have positive celiac blood tests and NO gluten reaction at all!

thank you so much for continuing to talk about alpha-gal. it is not well known enough. in fact...not enough people know what a mammal is...I've had AGS since 2007, diagnosed in 2018. sad that other people are getting it, but so glad that people are finally talking about it

This is where the idea that everyone was suddenly allergic to peanuts came from in the 90s when pediatricians were testing kids and misunderstanding the results.

Wait so this means blood tests alone can’t diagnose an allergy if there are no symptoms?
