the difference is that you get a more controlled stream of paint and you’re not squirting a bunch that ur never gonna use out, this is actually a pretty good hack tbh, it’s obvious yall don’t paint

Me personally, I would want my kid to make a mess with the paint on the plate. I don't know if that's irresponsible of me or not, but I want my kid to use all the paint he wants and not care about the mess left behind or the wasted paint. I just always liked the freedom that I had when I just didn't care about the mess or the amount of paint and I would want my kid to experience that freedom too because painting should be care free in my opinion

For kids I just give them the lid make sure it’s closed lol it’s like a small paint pot if they need more I have a “paint knife” it’s just a butter knife I use to add more to the cap
