Genuine question!!! How exactly do we know these saints are in Heaven with the Father? Or I guess more so, why do Catholics believe this? Is James 5:16 not referring to those who are alive, which brings me back to questioning why it’s believed these Saints are in Heaven. Isn’t the key words here “IF these Saints are in Heaven..”?

You seem very educated.. I’ve been catholic my whole life and the other day a friend of mine dropped a question on me that stumped me entirely. She asked me why we pray to the saints to which I responded that we ask them for intermission much like we would ask a friend to pray for us. She then asked that since the saints we ask to pray for us are for the most part passed on (💀) then isn’t that considered narcolepsy, which is forbidden in Deuteronomy 18:10. I was stumped.. I know there’s got to be an explanation for that but she has a good point. What are your thoughts?

Jesus Himself tells us how to pray. Never in the Bible does he tell us to pray to anyone or anything except to God. Us praying to “the saints” is telling God that He can’t hear us directly and He needs other people or other souls to help Him receive our prayers.

Well this is incredibly sad. They are DEAD. Jesus Himself said the dead know NOTHING. Even if they did, their prayers are no more powerful than yours. Yall have made idols of other human beings. Dead ones at that 😳😳 necromancy! The Bible strictly forbids inquiring of the dead.

Well, last time I checked the Lord never told me that I needed st. Michael and that all I need is him. So I’ll just stick to calling on my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because no saint has ever died for my sins 🤷🏾♀️. Tell me the name of a saint that was hung on the cross, went to hell, defeated Satan, rose again 3 days later, and then went to heaven? When you do give me the name, then I’ll pray to that saint. And I’ll be waiting for answers
