@bailately: I had a horrific experience with an epidural so I really had no choice but to deliver my last two unmedicated, but I wish someone would have told me these things before I ever tried to get an epidural 🫶🏼 #epiduralfail #naturalbirth #unmedicatedbirth #birthstory #birthtips

Just had my second baby, went unmedicated this time… it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but so worth it! The recovery is so much better this time around!

Just want to encourage anyone who is doubting herself that you CAN do it!!! It’s tough but my goodness you’ve already carried a baby for 9 months! You can do extremely hard things!!

Number one tip for a successful unmedicated delivery: don’t tell anyone about your plan 😅 (except any birth support people)

Epidural mama here, I was completely numb and felt nothing. Baby was out in 2 pushes. No tearing :) everyone is different

How was the “ring of fire” naturally? Was that the peak of your pain? Didn’t even know what existed until a few videos ago 😫😳

I’m a FTM due in early August and planning for unmedicated. I have trained myself this whole pregnancy and am praying nonstop that I can do it! Love hearing positive unmedicated birth stories

I literally only slept 2 hours in the 48 hours after my unmedicated birth bc I the adrenaline/oxytocin rush was so insane. I was just in complete euphoria, not tired or anything. Also, the bond with your husband!!!!! I could not agree more! I’m a very independent person and my husband told me that it was so special for him bc it was the first time he felt like I truly “needed” him 🥺 and it’s so true, I always so I could not have done it without him

while I’m glad everyone has the decision to get an epidural, I hope I can go without. I always thought “DUH” when women would tear so badly because you literally feel like there are no limits to pushing versus if you aren’t completely numb while pushing. You know when you should stop or slow down. Of course the recovery is so much harder with an epidural. I feel like people would be surprised how much they can handle during labor and that (if everything is going smoothly) our bodies are MADE for this, the pain is temporary

I LOVE THIS POST! And completely support! People thought I was crazy for wanting an unmedicated birth with my first, but I knew I also never wanted to risk complications from an epidural for only 1-3 days of pain. Thank you for sharing 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I have only had unmediated birth. With all my babies and everyone I try to convince won’t even try they automatically want the epidural

Love this! I had a natural unmedicated birth and it was so worth it! Being able to move around, eat, and find the position that helped me get through the contractions as comfortably as possible! I did tear, but I still felt like the recovery process was a lot easier.

Hoping to have my second unmedicated delivery this month! Still can’t believe how good I felt after giving birth the first time, was up walking & eating and needed no pain medication afterwards!

Yes you can convince me, want this but others seem to think I am crazy & to just get the epidural 👀 as a Paramedic- even I have seen the flip side of an epidural go wrong & can present DAYS later! That being said thank you so much for sharing this & can you just meet me at the hospital when the time comes 😳🥺😂

I didn’t know that it makes you numb like that. I was considering getting an epidural but I don’t like the sound of that.

I wanted an unmedicated birth with my second and I accidentally waited too long at home and gave birth in the truck😂 id love to do an unmedicated birth again but I’m scared transition might last a long time. How long was your transition if you remember? Mine was only 20 mins and that was worse than pushing. Pushing was actually relieving
