Scientifically incorrect - here's the accurate way to phrase what we do know. Abiogenesis is defined as the natural transition from non-living matter into the first living system. Therefore, it *cannot* currently be considered a fully supported scientific hypothesis in the strong explanatory sense because there is no demonstrated causal mechanism, experimental reproduction, or direct evidential pathway showing how non-life actually becomes life. As a result, what we do have evidence for are prebiotic chemistry or self-organizing molecular systems that does not directly support the defining claim unless it establishes a clear causal bridge to living systems, and since that transition remains unobserved and unresolved, the evidential basis does not yet meet the standard required for a confirmed explanatory hypothesis. So no. Science has NOT proven abiogenesis. Cheers

The simple fact that living entities are composed of non-living chemicals will prove that inanimate chemical elements formed living things.

Life is just a combination of atoms etc why do people think life is very very unique (wich it is) but not impossible whatsoever. Life is just a chemical reaction wich happens to give us the ability to think and know our existence

I think we sometimes forget how long these natural processes take. It's very difficult for the human brain to comprehend millions or even thousands of years, let alone billions. We are a blink compared to the story of the universe so far and for the rest of time.

life coming from non life is still under investigation.
Abiogenesis is just a scientific "theory"
it has not been observed to occur in reality or there are no scientific experimental proof to show that life comes from non life.
I checked all the research I could find in 2026
and there is no real evident that life can come from non life.

“It’s statistically impossible” 1. You don’t understand exactly what scientist are actually claiming, that is obvious. 2. Even if it was extremely unlikely, it only needs to happen once across trillions upon trillions of molecules globally then that replicating molecule becomes dominant. 3. This is over billions of years. Not a decade or a century or even a thousand years. It’s billions of years. Go back in time 10,000 years, think of all the change in that time. Now multiply it by 100,000.
