Sorry but Alex Aster just can’t write. Lightlark was DNF’d because of that. It wasn’t good, in any aspect. “She ran like she was running from something” come on. She’s a nepo author and nothing more.

I read When the Moon Hatched and didn’t like it. And then I did a re-read of it last month because everyone said the second book was amazing. Still didn’t like the first book. And the second book was a bit better, but I guess this series is not for me. And that’s okay.

Agreed with most of these but I did not like Feathers So Vicious. I didn’t think it was well written and wasn’t that good of a story. Also I would argue that the audiobook is dual narration and not duet.

I see so many people hating on Plated Prisoner series and I just...idk. Jaw drop. I loved it so much. If you go into it realizing she's meant to be "insufferable" because you have to start at rock bottom for AMAZING character growth, then I feel like you will love it. It's one of my favorite series, honestly.
