You can also ask your pcp for antibiotics like azithromycin and when you get it tell the pharmacy to not mix it to put the water inside a vial because ur traveling! (Pharmacy here)

I pack melatonin and a baby sound machine. I never give it other than when we fly a red eye. Go nite nite baby. 😂

Bring a 2nd pair of socks. I throw away the pair I walk in at the checkpoint, cause I dont want airport germs in my shoes, lol

Take Gatorade single packets. I had gotten food poisoning in Montenegro so bad and there wasn’t any electrolytes that we found. And always travel with antibiotics, especially with kids.

I pack individual snack bags for each kid that they carry in their backpacks. Saves you from the kids arguing over one of the kids eating all of one thing. 😆

Also when traveling, please look up that countries list of banned medicine/medication. Because even if you have a doctor's note... if the prescription is banned, it will be confiscated.

Yesss as an Austrain American mom of 4 who has to travel back and forth between Chicago and Salzburg alone yearly …great job 🥰one thing we did was a small new toy like a playmobil figure or car or little Barbie but we don’t have iPads so maybe you don’t need 🥰I also always do sleep masks for all and like a blow up neck pillow for bigger kids in the hopes they are least sleep an hour or so 😂I’m thrilled for you esp bc of your new home and I agree packing LESS is more . We have regular play clothes and 1-2 “church outfits” meaning for church dinner out events family pictures etc 🥰 leave space for bringing treats to your family in Montenegro and I hope you come back w goodies from your homeland too 🥰

another life saver on the plane is nose solution because the air is dry on the plane. Also rehidration powder for the water, disinfectant, hand cream and lip balm. Something to support the neck, my sleep mask and for me and older kids compression socs, your legs will never be bloated that way.
