I couldn’t do it. My undergrad chemistry professor broke down in the middle of class once and spent the whole lecture alternating between berating us until some students cried and laughing hysterically. It was terrifying and she never went through that material again despite us still being expected to understand it.

Should hand out pamphlets about teachers' wellbeing and education funding at the end bc realizing my mental fortitude was not strong enough for the rapidly increasing demands on teachers was why I left, and I've watched countless other teachers suffer breakdowns as the lack of support blurs the divide bn personal and work struggles

This may be a little bit unpopular opinion but sometimes asking the audience to suspend disbelief is often inbuilt in emersive theater because it's asking the audience to participate and play along which can be fun, but also add a little bit of relief if the subject matter can be dark or intense.

Sounds like a really cool show. I’m a high school teacher myself and I am fascinated with the facade of teaching. We all are actors creating a character that resembles us but isn’t quite. I wish I could see this!
