@kaylafutch_: I never thought I’d be diagnosed with breast cancer in my 20s. Neither did the doctors. And it took heavily advocating for myself to be heard. Breast cancer doesn’t care how old you are. While being young makes it less common, it does not make it impossible. That’s why it’s so important to know your body, trust your instincts, and advocate for yourself when something doesn’t feel right. If you’ve been told you’re “too young,” don’t let that stop you from asking questions or seeking another opinion if your concerns aren’t being addressed.
