OP has no idea how the secondhand games market works. 95% of games are worth very very little. A few dollars each. Then the remaining are worth $10s of dollars. Sold individually he MIGHT have got a $2-3k. But that would involve hundreds of transactions and probably taken months. Some may not ever sell. So walking in and getting a single clean transaction, for a third to a half of value, is honestly a good move.
