@jekathecluelessgardener: I found this creator through someone else. I don't know them well but they seemed interesting. I've been a silent follower of theirs for maybe 3 months? I don't go into their lives often. Today I watched their live and noticed they only had one person who shared their live. So I sent a daily heart me, reposted the live and then started sharing the live going down my friends list, making the share count go up. The live host said for me to stop doing that and asked why and who i was sharing the live with. I tried explaining that when you share it to a group of 15 people.. it only counts as one share on the counter. They either didn't understand what I was saying or misinterpreted what i said. Then they went off on a small tangent about who am i... I've never been in his live before... and when I explained that I have... and that I'm a silent watcher.. it then became a problem that I didn't say hello before I shared the live? The creator made me feel like i was causing some sort of drama in the live,my support wasn't wanted or needed, so I bid them well and said I was going to leave and that became a problem for them too. They ended up blocking me. Later I went back in on my troll account and said who I was and asked why they had blocked me when I was only kind and supportive and thats when I was called weird again. Then also accused of trying to lie to them? about what? I don't know. I didn't understand any of it. It was one of the weirdest encounters I've had on this app. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I'm supportive on this app. Mental health is a real problem: I believe in being kind to others, even when we don't understand them. I wish this creator well and no anguish. I wish that they had shown the same amount of kindness I had shown them, but thats the biggest lesson here. We don't know what others are going through, while they may not have the grace to be kind, I'm proud that I still did in those moments with them. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

This is what I read about sharing, I wanted to know best way to share. I actually don’t share anymore, just repost and add to my story. Occasionally I will invite one friend to join the live because they are fitting that algorithm and could participate as a live guest. Here’s what I found out….and this may not be correct either….………When a creator goes live, platforms like Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram usually give you two ways to share: invite people directly from the share list or drop the link in comments/one by one. Most big creators want you to use the bulk invite option — that’s the “send 15 invites at a time” thing — and here’s why that’s usually better. The bulk invite sends a private notification straight to people’s inbox. It doesn’t spam the comment section, so the actual conversation on the live doesn’t get buried. When you share individually by posting the link in comments over and over, it floods the chat. That pushes real comments down, makes it hard for the creator to see questions, and looks messy to new viewers who just joined. The algorithm can also flag it as spammy behavior, which can hurt the live’s reach. Gifts do fill the comments too, but the difference is the creator wants those — gifts are support and revenue. Random share links in comments don’t help them, and they can make the chat unusable. So the best way is use the built-in invite button and send to multiple friends at once. It helps the creator because it brings in viewers without clogging the chat, keeps the comment section readable, and avoids getting flagged by the platform. If you really want to share in comments, do it once and say something like “brought a few friends” instead of spamming the link. That’s why that creator blocked for individual shares — it was messing up their live chat, even if the intent was good.

Spam sharing is a common tactic by trolls because it takes up the whole page with each individual share showing in the comment section for the streamer and moderators. When they do that, they can’t see the regular chat if you’re someone that is not a gifter or commonly active in chat it can come off as trolling. Just share to everyone at once so you don’t get blocked by people

hi veteran content creator here! if you share the live with one person in a time span of 5 minutes it could mark the creator as a bot and can shadowban them, im not excusing their behavior but a lot of creators do suggest just sharing it to your story as it gets to others in a larger group at a time and its more efficient im sorry you had to go through that though, finding the right creators are definitely hard! 💚

hello! i am a small streamer :) unfortunately what happens with spam sharew is that it can get marked as bot like activity because of the repetition! it unfortunately can get us shadow banned. i’m sorry what happened to you— but i also understand where the creator is coming from too! it’s just best to share with people all at once instead of spamming the “copy link” button or sending the live to one person at a time :) hope this helped! 🫶🏼

I saw another TikTok live the other day where somebody yelled at somebody for tagging in their live. Said it was something like dry tagging, and it affected their viewer count? I don’t know anything about that but all they would have to do is ask them not to do that politely and explain why. I think many influencers have let their egos take over.

Sharing the live that way. Completely spams there chat. It makes it nearly impossible for the creator to follow the chat. The preferred method is on “blocks” if you’re going to share. The viewers to not see the spamming on their side. I don’t know if blocking is the way to go. But if they asked you to stop and you don’t comply, then they have every right to block you. 🥺

Ive been on here for 6 years since 2019 2020. in all my years and lives ive set in with creators and cosplayers and went live a cpl times ive never kicked or blocked someone for sharing my lives to bring people in. this whole shadow ban and blah blah maybe there is some truth to it but then again I may never know.
