Yup. I always figured when a flare happens, it’s probably because something environmental like a chemical or a mild bug triggered my immune system to sound all the alarms. Sometimes it’s not in our control, and the best we can do is strap ourselves to the helm and keep her steady as the sea tosses our ship around a bit

What gets me is I was in a flare for a week but got tested Monday and my inflammation was ok.. like 😳. Guess it was going back down?!

Thank you for sharing this!! I have ulcerative colitis and just like you are saying I’m doing all the right things to help my body and I still have flare ups. It can get really discouraging at times. Thank you for the reminder it isn’t me, it’s the autoimmune disease. 💛
