@caracelestewest: Things I genuinely hate as an American traveling through Europe 🤪 I know I am going to get some heated comments but these are the things I hate most about traveling in European airports and something you should be aware of if you’re traveling through Europe this summer that differ from the U.S. 😅 1. You have to wait for your boarding gate - I can’t tell you how many times we’ve stared at that monitor in the terminal after the security check to see that the gate wouldn’t be released until 20-15 minutes before the flight is due to depart only to get a gate at the very end of the concourse and having to run to make it there on time when I could have just been sitting at the gate in the first place 😩 2. No Gate Agents - there are typically never any gate agents when you even get to your gate and if there are they are always typically rude and unhelpful 😒 but I guess when you have universal healthcare you aren’t really worried about getting fired for bad customer service 😂 3. The Bus 🫠 - just when you think you’re about to board the plane … wrong they are stuffing us inside a bus to take you to the other side of the terminal 😭 4. Boarding on the Tarmac - if you have a carryon, girl you are carrying it up those stairs alone 😝 5. No Snack or Beverage Service - the flight attendants on budget airlines are basically just there to make sure you have your seatbelt on 🤣 they don’t have any complimentary snack or beverage service which honestly don’t mind but sometimes when you forget to grab drink from the terminal it’s nice to have. 6. If you’re traveling with kids just be aware every airport and airline is totally different regarding the stroller policy. While you can always bring one for free, sometimes they make you check it with the checked bags, but that also means you won’t have it waiting for you at the gate when you land, instead you’ll pick it up in baggage claim or they’ll take it to oversized luggage 😒 What’s been your most annoying things about traveling in Europe? #traveltips #travelfail #traveleurope #europetravels #travelabroad
