this remake is good objectively, it’s better composed, but it lost the entire “casual fun” feel the first version had, it feels like they’re trying way too hard to make it sound impactful and intense when it doesn’t need that at all and actually suffers from it (eg. the transition from the lyrics in v1 being a quick swing into a faster tempo, while in v2 it builds for like 20 seconds for no reason, ruining the entire pace of the song?
