So that rudder movement is the flight control check, so as part of the checklist to ensure safe operations, pilots check the three main flight control surfaces to ensure they are functioning properly before each flight, the rudder is checked by stepping on the rudder pedal to each of the directions, full left and full right, and then the ailerons are also checked by moving the yoke or sidestick to the full left and full right positions, the last is the elevator full down and full up. And that ends the flight control check ☺️. So the pilot wasn’t waving at me🤣😹😹😹.

I prefer it and A380 to the 787 dreamliner. The sleekest airline ever. I liked the 340-600 too. Wished the government purchased it too.
