Germany’s average worker is off sick 14.8 days a year. Employees in the federal authorities average 21.1 days, with the Bundesrat at 25.2 days. Maybe the government should fix its own attendance record first.

I never understood the concept of doctor's notes just for being sick. like I know im sick, I feel the symptoms, any other human that has had said sickness can confirm that those symptoms mean that im sick. why do I need to drive my sick self to the doctor just for them to tell me something I already know

That’s crazy to make people get a Dr note for 1 day! You spend the whole day waiting to see Dr so now it will be min 2 days.

You can’t get a note over the phone, but you also can’t get an appointment for months… make it make sense. And so you go to work and get everyone else sick all the while you’re not being productive either. This is such a bad idea.
