Walmart sells pinto bean seasoning. Its next to all the Mexican spices. Its so so good. BTW...super cheap!

Use crock pot, chicken stock, whole onion, ham hock, cook on low overnight. Delicious!

I don't soak and use my instapot with onion, garlic, and a jalapeno with spices. great with eggs and tortillas for breakfast

Growing up in the 60s in early 70s my family was very poor. We ate pinto beans and rice. We eat lima beans and rice. We eat navy beans and rice. We ate butter beans and rice and we ate peas and rice.

You should put one or 2 teaspoons of baking soda in the water while soaking your beans to cut down gas, etc.
