@luxiefitdaily: "this is the historical playbook" If a BRICS-aligned South Africa tries to assert total control over the Cape of Good Hope while the West is starving for trade routes, the imperialist response won't be diplomacy. It will be to break the state's capacity to govern, leaving the Cape up for grabs for whoever has the guns to claim it. A destabilized South Africa gives Western shipping interests a free Cape of Good Hope. When some planners look at South Africa's internal fractures like the rising xenophobic attacks, the crumbling electrical grid (Eskom), and political disunity and see a target ripe for exploitation. They don't need to launch a massive, overt invasion like they did in the Middle East. They can just lean into the chaos: Fanning the Flames: Sowing further internal division through covert funding or political manipulation to ensure the country remains too fractured to profit from the massive shift in global shipping. Corporate Enclaves: While the country deals with structural collapse, Western shipping conglomerates and private mercenaries can secure isolated, highly fortified deep-water refueling stations along the coast. Iran, despite the current war, is treated as a major civilizational state with a massive conventional military, a "navy," and a seat at the geopolitical bargaining table. Africa, historically and in modern Western policy, is treated with a toxic mix of neglect and exploitation. The West has a long, brutal history of treating African nations not as sovereign states to negotiate with, but as territories to be managed, stripped of resources, or deliberately fractured to keep them from building collective power. From Washington or London's perspective, a stable South Africa that is fully integrated into BRICS is a strategic nightmare. If the West is locked out of the Red Sea and Hormuz due to their own wars of choice, they are completely dependent on the Cape. If South Africa uses its position as a BRICS nation to give preferential port access, refueling, or security cooperation to China or Russia, the West loses its last remaining logistical lifeline. To an imperialist mind, a completely broken, burning South Africa is actually preferable to a functional one controlled by a geopolitical rival. If they cannot dictate the terms of the Cape, they have no problem seeing it destabilized to deny that leverage to BRICS. . . . #onetruthhub #KnowTheTruth #questioneverything #questionauthority #Geopolitics
