For me it didn’t go fully away until I met someone new. Like the new person wasn’t even anyone special but knowing that I could like someone again really changed everything. And thank god bc it lasted yearssss

This sounds mean to myself but I always say “I’m not special enough to have a unique experience” and whether it’s about my health anxiety, breakups, etc, it weirdly makes me feel better bc most of us don’t defy the odds, we fit into the masses and common statistics.

What’s weird is bouncing back way faster and easier the older you get. There was a very noticeable shift in my 30s. I feel like I can experience heartbreak for a maximum of three days now.
