am I being dumb? could you not have just painted the whole yellow bit one colour and then go over it with stripes and then you'd only have to do the stripes once? rather than two sets of stripes? I think it's probably me just being dumb 🤣 looks great though!

As someone who’s done strips what you needed to do was paint it all pink . Then leave for a couple of days then do the purple only one lot of masking tape .

should be using the green painters tape rather than masking tape. the adhesive on painters tape is meant for using on painted surfaces so as to not remove paint from the walls
