@ryanwaidtattoos: The biggest honor a tattoo artist can have: Tattooing another tattoo artist. It was a great time creating this Lord of the Rings inspired Elf girl for my friend Destiny! My favorite part of this tattoo is all of the meaningful details hidden in the design. • The script above the portrait is actually lyrics from her wedding song, translated into Elvish writing. • The sword is a tribute to her son, Theo. It’s modeled exactly like the sword of King Theoden in the Lord of the Rings movies. • If you look closely at the hand holding the sword, the ring finger on the left hand has Destiny’s actual wedding ring on it. We took photos of a ring, and we were able to capture a lot of the unique details and shapes of the diamonds in her ring. These are the kind of unique, personalized details that I love to include in my tattoos.
