Here’s the beginning and first question with Christopher Nolan. I’ve been interviewing Nolan for 12 years now. The first time was Interstellar. Prior to The Odyssey, we would always have conversations about filming select scenes in the IMAX format, which is why you would see the shifting aspect ratios when watching the IMAX format. With The Odyssey, there are multiple formats with different aspect ratios that show either more or less of the full image that Nolan and Hoytema filmed on the day.
