and also by the way that cat dying thing was ALSO aforeshadow not only showing bears death BUT also showing how far nikki was actually going to go, and how All thing were going to go.

bro the jumpscares were the same all throught the movie and they still got me 😭. it was all buildup, release because everything cuts off (commonly as Nikki goes "okay") and then sudden buildup with the actual jumpscare. and that "why don't you love me" part in the bedroom... actually made me jump 😭🙏

from what i’ve seen and heard i think the only times the real nikki comes out is whenever she see’s her reflection, like at the car when bear makes his wish she looked at the rear view mirror, nikki in the bed room kissing bear she screams bc she see’s her reflection, the party where she looks at the beer, etc…
