I love how personality driven most of your tips are. It’s so easy to be afraid of making a character with a rich inner life right now. So many characters could be swapped and the stories wouldn’t change.

sooo good! (when I'm in hospitals I'm obsessed with their posters and art because it often is a bit awkward and not very good, it makes me laugh. hospitals are quite routine for me not scary and I try to find joy in these long stretches of waiting. there you go, writers - from your chronically ill girly)

I just wrote a scene like this and didn’t realize I was doing it! The character was in an airport and had experienced an almost plane crash due to engine failure in the past. All he focused on at the gate was out the window and how small the aviation crew looked while loading luggage onto the plane and the engine under the wing before watching his feet and not looking at anything at all
