@herhandsforwar: I make my own anointing oil and it is genuinely one of my favorite things as there is something so powerful about creating something with your own hands that you are about to use to spiritually cover your home. And before you overthink it.. it is so simple. Dried lavender and frankincense infused in extra virgin olive oil on low heat. I use extra virgin because it is the base for anointing throughout scripture, but honestly if all you have is coconut oil or vegetable oil.. use it. Do not let perfection stop you from doing the thing. God honors the heart behind it. Cool it, strain it, then pray over every drop before you use it. That step right there is what makes it more than just oil. That is where the consecration happens. Then pour it into the cutest little bottles and anoint everything in sight. Doorposts. Windows.
