A body in motion stays in motion. I repeat this daily on my runs. I’m about to be 41 and I want to be able to play with my grandkids when I’m actually old. Thank you for sharing this!

My grandfather is 92 and still lives on his own and drives his own car. He bikes 5 miles every morning, swims laps every afternoon and is an active member of silver sneakers.

My great grandpa was 94, lived on his own, walked, drove, went and played pool with his friends, & even had a girlfriend. He was living his best life all the way up to the end.

My grandpa was swimming laps daily and riding an exercise bike until he was 99 years old and he passed away at 101. If I have any sign to take care of my health it’s that.

I’m almost 67 years of age, and live in the gym. I still run on the treadmill, and still hitting the weights like nobody’s business

My favorite person in the gym is Ellen, a 75 year old woman who can do 15-20 slow, controlled, strict form pull-ups. I’ve seen firsthand what is possible when you age.

My 84 yr old father is still running distance and swimming almost every day. His 1st 26.2 was at age 56. Whatever your fitness level is, move more, no matter how much!

Always be physically active. Whatever that means for you. You can always modify and do something.

this lady at my church is in her 80's, and just last year she did a 12 mile bicycle run. she even fell, got back up, and finished.
she has a riding lawnmower and does her own grass when it needs cut as well.
I've listened to her stories and she has been, and always will be, a badass.

My mother-in-law is 83 and she can barely do anything anymore. But my dad is turning 94 and he lives independently. He plays three different sports in his retirement home and he drives.

I am 49. I do have some arthritis due to autoimmune issues. But if I don’t move my body is 💯 worse. I do yoga, walk a lot and garden. Travel often. I can’t be with that old mindset.
