I’m in CA too. So plant garlic around Halloween, but how will I know when to harvest? We also go through a lot of garlic! The more the better in this house lol

Apparently they don’t like ground that’s been fertilised in the last couple seasons, that might be why they’re small (I am assuming you prepared the ground for the other stuff you’ve planted, so my comment is irrelevant if you didn’t 😅)
