Uh yeah no. That’s not how it works. You do get charged the fable price when the subagents use it. The smarter move is the opposite- fable orchestrator using opus or sonnet with opus advisor subs. They don’t go through the classifier but fable reviews their outputs.

That's not how API pricing works, bruv. When opus launches a sub agent, you pay for that sub agent with however much that sub agent costs! That's the whole point of sub agents. People let opus run sonnet instances because opus can estimate if a task is simple enough for a sonnet instance to do. It would be idiotic to then pay opus prices for every sonnet sub agent. Having opus plan when to use fable, completely defeats the purpose of fable

I use RTK, ponytail, and caveman repos, all three at the same time and then I cut their effort all the way to the max because believe it or not when you download the repos you're going to have an option to either have it on lite mode, medium mode, high mode and Max. for caveman I suggest using the max on all of them because caveman converts your input into Mandarin which could cut your token usage by a minimum of 50%. but here's the key once you download all three of them individually you have Claude wire them all in to where you can just activate one time but all three activate. you can really get slick by having it activate every time you open up a session
