My youngest sister has a kid. When she had her baby shower I bought $700 worth of items from her wishlist because no one else got anything except for 2-3 items. Barely got a thank you. Now my nephew is about to turn 1 and I have a big box of gifts. She only uses high end luxury diapers for him. The store I went to only had a box of 54 diapers in stock. My mother and my sister both literally said “oh…that’s it??” Like…?? Tf? And I’m struggling with infertility and they make me feel so alone. So glad I live 5 hrs away, even though I visit once a month and they never come to see me btw, but they make me feel like I never do enough.

Since childhood, I have been sharing sweets with my mother, making sure she gets food when we are at home and she is at work, I always tell her not to limit herself and to buy something for herself first. but I still hear that she won't get even a glass of water from me in her old age, and my brother, who never shares with anyone and only cooks for himself, will take care of her. Not to mention that I always take into account our financial situation and rarely ask for anything, while my brother doesn't hesitate to spend money on the bus for all sorts of unnecessary little things.

when I was younger, I always bought 2 foods each time, for me, and for my sister. I always save mine, and she'll eat hers first. But when I decided to eat mine, she'll cry because she wants to have it again. My parents always told me to give it to my sister since I'm the eldest one and I should know how to lower myself.
