I just started going to a guy who did my friends tattoos she vouched for him hes a great guy the first dude I went to fucked my gf’s tattoo up and rescheduled and canceled like 8-9 times altogether I’m 2 months lol

Dude I got stories. In SC tattoos were illegal until 2004 and the first shop that opened was in myrtle beach in 2006. Shops had to jump through hoops to open. Before that people went to NC or GA. So alot of us got street tattoos in shady places, some used clean needles we saw come out packages those were the good ones that had all the proper equipment still kind of shady places, than had people use new shaved down staples like in jail we called those jail tats. Yes staples, "dont ask me about the staples might have gotten lets say "tipsy" had my sketch book with me and got one of my sketches on my back. Its not bad...but needs to be redone. Some places you can tell a "staple" was used by the size of the dots.

I also wanted to say this it’s very common for clients to hit on female artists I go to a guy there’s like 2 other young women working there who are attractive anyway first day I went the one lady was telling me this guy was saying shit to her about how he wanted her to sit on his face and shit very disturbing there’s really good people on the tattoo world there’s also the biggest scumbags too it sucks 😅
