I would say I got my wedding picture. If she asks about other photos say “oh yeh my photographer said something about someone asking for photo, when she realised they were engagement photos she didn’t want to create a drama on my day so she took them and got rid of them as she was contracted to photograph MY wedding not an engagement and I never mentioned anything to her.”

Her friend obviously didn’t know she was going to get proposed to at her wedding . Maybe dude was carrying around the ring for weeks and waiting for the right moment ? I would feel too petty to not give her the pics . My wedding day would not be over shadowed by anything .

update was they went to lunch, and friend apologized for being shitty. she gave her the pictures for free but their friendship is hurt by it but they have too many mutual and op kept the peace

I would say my photography package came with a certain amount of pictures included so anything extra is at a charge so I’m not going to pay for your engagement photos at my own wedding but your more than welcome to and then charge her the amount I paid the photographer for her photos
