I had a nicu baby and was blessed with a chef friend who would leave meals on our porch every day when we’d get home from the nicu for the night. One less thing to stress about was an amazing weight lifted off us.

If she’s making them food one could assume SHE KNOWS WHAT THEY EAT. She wouldn’t be making them pork if they clearly didn’t eat it, your food preferences are not her concern. If you wouldn’t eat it just move on she didn’t make it for you. I love food I don’t have to cook, even better there’s also a little sweet treat 🥰

Why coke? Especially when they’ve got a toddler… caffeine and sugar from the bbq sauce too…. Very kind of you to cook for them but that’s not a balanced meal and could add more stress if the toddler eats it and gets hyperactive from it right before bed time.

A coworker made me a veggie-heavy lasagna (a vegetarian lasagna recipe that she added meat to) when I had my baby. And now that’s what I make for all my friends when they have a baby. Because it meant so much to me! And I give a loaf of sourdough.
