@.skylarr_ღ: I dont think yall watching the same show, Every time Melanie starts thinking about leaving Sincere, someone pulls her aside and says, “He really likes you,” “Just see it through,” or “I’m sure that wasn’t his intention.” She’s already battling her heart and her mind, and then everyone around her keeps making her question what she’s feeling because they’re taking Sincere at his word. That’s why what she said at movie night felt like a cry for help. She literally said, “I’m tired of hearing ‘but he chose you.’ Being chosen isn’t the prize being respected is.” To me, she was basically asking everyone to stop convincing her that being chosen makes everything okay. It wasn’t just Sincere making it harder for her the whole villa kept reinforcing that mindset.

i’m not even mad at mel bc i’ve been in her position before. it’s just hard when it’s someone you really like but i hope she’s able to detach from him soon. but what’s making me mad is that everyone is telling her he still really likes her, and tbh, i feel like that’s partly the reason why she can’t stop going back to him. because since everyone is telling her different stuff it’s making herself doubt her intuition and judgement 💔 imma need trinity to share a few words to her!
