Here’s the fact… the ball grazed the Croatian players hair and under FIFA rules if the ball trajectory isn’t changed, the hair is not part of the body… clearly the ball trajectory wasn’t changed so this should have been an onside and a goal

There’s something off about this whole entire situation. The people at FIFA are saying he hit it but the ball never once changed directions. So are we supposed to believe our eyes or what the sensor claims? They need to show another, clearer angle

I'm not a big soccer fan and don't really follow it other than the World Cup. I thought that VAR was supposed to help get the calls right. So far I've seen it misused several times to the rules and most of the calls are wrong after VAR. What am I missing?

People always say the technology is there to remove mistakes from football. Fine. Then use it properly. The purpose of VAR isn’t to create controversy—it’s to get the right decision. And in my opinion, they got this one wrong!
