I just got off that ship 2 weeks ago. I agree they need to do better especially with the food choices. I didn’t have any dirty dish issues but I wouldn’t sail on that particular ship again

We literally just stayed on Royal Caribbean and got DIRTY coffee cups one day! And their answer was to give us a discount on a next cruise. They then sent me a certificate for only $100 off my next cruise. I’m a travel agent btw and told them I wouldn’t be selling Royal anymore. They don’t care!!! We were on Jewel too. We also had bed bugs.

A cruise line can screw up most things and I won’t care, but dirty dishes or silverware are inexcusable. Quality control should be elevated to the highest level for those tasks.

My room was never vacuumed. I was so disgusted. They DID make it right though, they came by and cleaned up nicely and we enjoyed our time. Jewel is getting old, it’s time they redo some things

Sorry that happened! I feel like they’re cutting (more) corners with the smaller and older ships like Jewel than say the new ships like Icon or Star. Either way sanitation and cleanliness should be standard throughout Royal. I was on Symphony last year and I grabbed a cup for water at Sorrento’s, and the cup was still dirty with oil or food residue on it 🤢

Woah that’s a health violation 😳 that’s not ok! I recommend the MSC cruise they’re know for the food. Nothing fancy but everything looks clean and so much variety. The chef’s were incredible. I had steak, salmon, mussels different nights and didn’t get sick at all considering I have a sensitive stomach

I went on the same ship in 2022. Food sucked, ship was rocking too hard, and I ordered strawberries and champagne for the first day that they never brought.
