I made a list of stuff I wanted before I went into anime expo and immediately went to artist alley to get everything I wanted before it sold out/got too crowded to get the stuff I wanted. It was definitely packed, but I think the best way to go about artist alley is making a list, then just get the hell out of there lmao

it doesn't help that they cut the alley into half so now it's twice and congested. it was so bad they had to close off certain lanes for exit only(still didnt help)

im here to info dump cause it makes me mad they reduced artist alley by 62% from whag it was in 2025 while increasing attendance more people, less artist alley, but fuxking problem cause of even higher and way worse congestion than last year (land agin ast year was also bad)

It was crowded because a lot of people are seeing frame artist booths. You can even tell how many people are waiting in their booth and want to talk to them. I wish an artist's ally should be somewhere else where everyone can have space to walk around.
