Actually, there are exceptions. Because there are 13 year olds out there who are forced to grow up and be the bigger person. You can't just assume that every teenager is the same, because no one is the same and any person's point of view is certainly NOT the same.

this can heavily vary. a child who has a gone through certain trauma can experience being overly mature. before I hear "b-but trauma dosent equal maturity!!" in many cases, it does. if a younger individual has gone through serious situations where they were forced to figure things out themselves or raise themselves they will end up more mature due to the weight and responsibility placed on them, especially if it happens in a short period of time where they need to adapt to it even faster. responsibility often causes maturity. The reason kids dont have it is because they have adults do everything for them, but if they dont, the pressure automatically shifts to them instead of the adult causing them to deal woth situations not meant for them. This, causes maturity.

I get along with older people a lot more than people my age and i dont know what to do. I haven't seen anyone my age have the same interests or style as me its really hard to find them unfortunately. The friends i end up making are 16 because of it. Ive only found one person thats around my age with somewhat similar interests as me.

I mean I'm no longer 13, but I'm genuinely the exception. I experienced a lot of things when I was 12 (things that people basically only experience in high school )and through therapy I got better self awareness and conflict resolution which in case, made me more mature. Looking back at it, I was "more mature for my age!" Idk its just my part on this take, ask whatever, I have bit of a similar take as the ranter (idk the name my bad)
