I wish I’d done these 5 things before I went to train in China... because everything hurt way more than it needed to. 1️⃣ Stretch daily: Your mobility depends on flexibility. It will help you a LOT!!!! Seriously. Your hips, shoulders, your entire body... you’ll thank yourself. 2️⃣ Start conditioning now : Your legs and core will be destroyed the first week. Everything WILL hurt anyway (ahah), but a little bit less if you prepare. 3️⃣ Study basic Mandarin: Just survival phrases, but it shows respect. Plus... you need to count in Mandarin! 😅 Your Shifu will be way more patient if you try. 4️⃣ Get your mindset right : Mental toughness > physical ability. Yes, your body will hurt, but your mind will be challenged way more. Are you ready for that? 5️⃣ Accept you’ll struggle : The first 2 weeks are humbling. That’s normal. Your body will hurt, but in that pain, you’ll find clarity and mind freedom. What are YOU going to prepare first? → Want the full breakdown on training prep? Grab the guide in my bio or comment CHINA #china #kungfu #traininghard #martialarts #prepareyourself
