I am all Yours God ✝️ ~ Dear God, as July begins, I don't just see a new month on the calendar; I see a version of me that You had to strip away to get me here. There have been prayers I didn't understand, moments I couldn't explain, and days I questioned what You were doing in the silence. But looking back, I realize You weren't withholding from me; You were preparing me. Some lessons couldn't be taught through comfort; they had to be learned in the waiting, in the grieving, in the stretching, and in the moments where all I had left was Your name. So I'm entering July with empty hands, God, and I think that's the safest place to be: empty of my own timelines, empty of trying to predict what's next, and empty of needing every answer before I take the next step. Because somewhere along the way, You reminded me that surrender isn't losing control; it's trusting the One who never lost it. What You've written over my life doesn't need my permission to happen; it only requires my obedience. So I'm not asking this month to impress me; I'm asking You to transform me. If You open doors, I'll walk through them; if You keep them closed, I'll trust Your wisdom; if You ask me to wait, I'll wait with expectation instead of frustration. Because I'm no longer measuring Your faithfulness by what I can see; I'm measuring it by the fact that after everything I've survived, I'm still here, still believing, and still becoming the person You saw before I ever even saw myself.
