I’m NOT ashamed to admit it and man enough to say it. She gives me more hope than Superman btw. Clark reassures me that it’s okay to not be perfect and that I just need to try my best and not give up. Kara inspires me that one day I will heal from my trauma and be the best version of myself. This song had helped me so much since I saw this movie.

The story and the message was sooo good but the plot goddammit at home I started rewriting the scenes out of spite. Superman was not the best movie but the plot was genuinely good, Supergirl could have been even better. Superman's message is Universal, Supergirl has a message that applies especially on young women and with a stronger writing It could have been so powerful
