may I suggest brandon sanderson. mistborn trilogy is 10/10, more tog vibes than acotar, definitely a high fantasy with romance subplots. such fun world building and characters

I found that it’s good to switch genres every so often if you can stand it! I switch between Fantasy, Romantasy, dark romance, contemporary and the classics for a palette cleanser! 💕

honestly ive just started doing the Robin Hobb rabbit hole and its the closest so far anything has come to making me feel like that again.... Realm of the Elderlings series and there are 16 books in total so you can properly lose yourself in a new universe!!! 🥰
