i respected my feelings and hers enough to know that for the both of us, i gotta let us go. i had to be the one to end it because she was never gonna realize that it’s okay for us to want different things, but what’s not okay is her holding herself back from those different things she wants just to be with me. that would be a disservice to herself as well as a mental burden on me for not being able to give her all she wants in certain aspects knowing she’s putting some of her needs aside so we can be tg. that just wasn’t fair to her and also not to me either and no matter how much it hurts it’s going to be better for both of us but it’s the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do. realizing that the person you love so much and loves you so much, just isn’t the right person for you and your not the right one for them, and then having to let them go. yeah it’s hard and it hurts especially cause ik she’s hurt too but i hope she realizes all this and does get the person who will be able to give her what she needs because i have nothing but love for her always and i won’t ever forget the last 3 years and 4 months
