Derealization is so disorienting. I’m so glad you reached out to your pharmacist.

I had the same reaction to Valtrex. I kept trying to explain seeing like 70s psychedelic images. I was allergic.

A specifically postpartum medication that has an expected 12 hour downtime is insane.

Thank you for telling the pharmacist and always do it if you are having any weird symptoms (even for “old” medicines, not just new ones). It is very important for the adverse reactions to be recorded as it improves the profile of that drug and therefore the prescription. Pharma here 👩🏻⚕️

Don’t feel weird about having to post multiple parts - I thought this style of video (story/unboxing/story/unboxing) was extra engaging ☺️

This is how I felt when I was postpartum on a SSRI for PPD. I stopped after 3ish weeks because the symptoms became so severe. I took a two week break because I still felt off and then started on buspar- Prior to pregnancy I struggled with generalized anxiety and had been on it with success in the past and that helped me tremendously! The doctors felt that my PPD was worsened from my worsening anxiety.

I trust that you will find the medication that works for you. I had to go through 3 of them until I landed on the one that saved me. You can do this!!!

You might try a good magnesium glycinate. It helps me relax and get good sleep. You might get your minerals checked also.

I experienced the same issues when I was prescribed Zoloft. It's not worth all of the side issues. Glad you knew to quit taking it. It's a scary place, and mindset to be in. Thanks for sharing. Much love and good health!❤️❤️❤️
