@zalisteggallmp: Bowel cancer is one of Australia’s most common and deadliest cancers, and Australia has one of the highest rates of early onset bowel cancer in the world. Too many young people are still misdiagnosed or dismissed because bowel cancer is wrongly seen as an older person’s disease. We need stronger investment in early onset bowel cancer research, better awareness across our health system, and faster diagnosis and treatment for younger patients.
