I just bought the Jaecoo J5 and love it. I notice a lot of negative judgement online tho which has surprised me. Marbella it’s a transition thing.

I got my new BYD Dolphin at the end of May and I don't think I'll be able to go back 😂 the convenience of being able to just plug it at home is unmatched, never having to buy petrol. and its just so quiet and smooth to drive! I was amazed and am completely in love

hi from the UK 👋 what I really don't understand is if you can definitely charge at home why would you not get an EV. even if you have to do a few long journeys where you need to charge from (expensive) public chargers, the money you save the rest of the time makes up for it then fold.

Genuine question. I’m all for EVs, we own one ourselves and love it. But we also own a ute because we tow a caravan and regularly travel where an EV simply isn’t practical nor safe for our needs. Do you genuinely expect everyone to give up the hobbies, lifestyles and vehicles that suit their circumstances just so every household only owns EVs? Or do you accept that different people have different requirements? It sometimes comes across as though anyone driving a larger vehicle is automatically selfish or ignorant, when in reality many of us own both an EV and a 4WD because each serves a completely different purpose. Wouldn’t the better outcome be encouraging people to choose the right tool for the job, rather than implying everyone should live exactly the same way?

They’re fine around town if you have a charger at your home. Other than that they are not a very good option. Long trips are difficult and inconvenient due to time to charge and finding charging stations. EV’s may be good for some but not all.
