Cook pasta as directed on the box and make sure to salt the water before adding the pasta. Drain water and set aside. Start your roux with melting 3 Tablespoons of butter on medium heat. Add 3 Tablespoons of flour and whisk until smooth. Add smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk constantly until it starts to thicken, bubble, and darken. Add 1 cup of whole milk and whisk until it thickens. Repeat this two more times making a total of 3 cups of milk. Grate 1 cup of colby jack cheese and 2 cups of sharp cheddar. Add in 3 increments stirring each time until fully melted. Add pasta into cheese sauce and combine. Place into a baking dish. Mix 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs with garlic salt, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Sprinkle over top and place into the oven uncovered. Bake for 30 min and enjoy! #cooking #dinner #sahm #homemade #food
