@lorrainelovesla: 🚨 Extremely urgent—Pica #A2280091 a 2-year-old brown tabby mom cat with three 5-week-old kittens, at North Central Animal Shelter are listed for euthanasia and must be saved by Friday, July 3 by 4pm—they have less than 24 hours. Pica is still nursing and her kittens are friendly. She came into the shelter as a stray wearing a collar—she likely had a home, but her history includes protecting her babies: she was quarantined after she bit someone while flea medication was being applied to her kittens. Since then, she has calmed down a lot—on July 1 staff could pet Pica and her kittens. Rescues can’t pull without a foster, and time is running out. If you can foster, please comment and DM ASAP. Pica and her kittens do not deserve to die!
