This was at Knik Glacier with Alaska Helicopter Tours, where you fly out to a glacier, swim, hop on paddle boards, and explore these unbelievably blue glacier pools surrounded by icebergs. We had the entire place to ourselves. The water is glacier-fed, but you’re wearing a dry suit, so you’re surprisingly comfortable. (Falling in wasn’t nearly as terrifying as it looked. 😂) I’ve paddle boarded in a lot of beautiful places, but this is going to be hard to top.
