Blueberry Scones🫐🌷✨                                      Recipe:                                                                   Ingredients -2 cups all-purpose flour (240g) -2 tsp baking powder  -1 tsp baking soda -1/2 tsp salt -1/2 cup sugar (99g) -1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced (113g) -1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold (118ml) -1 egg, cold -1 tsp vanilla -1 1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen) -3 Tbsp heavy whipping cream to brush on top before baking (44ml)  -Turbinado sugar to sprinkle on top before baking Glaze (optional)  -2/3 cup powdered sugar (76g) -1 Tbsp milk (14ml) -1/4 tsp vanilla -1/2 tsp lemon zest Instructions 1. In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.  2. Add the diced butter and cut into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or a fork until pea-sized butter crumbs form. 3. Gently stir in blueberries. Place the bowl in the fridge to keep it cold meanwhile. 4. In a small bowl whisk together heavy whipping cream, egg, and vanilla. 5. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the cream mixture. Stir lightly just until the dough comes together. Do not over-mix. If the dough seems too dry add a tablespoon of heavy whipping cream. If the dough mixture is too wet sprinkle some flour and gently mix in. 6. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Flatten the dough into a 1-inch thick and 7-inch wide disk. Cut the circle in half, then cut each half into four triangle-shaped wedges. 7. Set scones onto a lined baking sheet, keeping them at least an inch apart. Place baking sheet with scones in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. 8. Preheat oven to 400°F. 9. Brush the tops of the scones with some heavy whipping cream and sprinkle turbinado sugar. 10. Bake 18-22 minutes. Glaze: 1. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, lemon zest and vanilla. 2.
